UC Berkeley
The Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation offers courses in new venture finance, marketing for high tech entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship in action, managing the new product development process, and managing innovation.
The Management of Technology (MOT) Program is a joint effort between the College of Engineering and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. It is a research and teaching program that brings together faculty and students from both sides of campus to address critical technology management issues. MOT Core Courses focus on new product development processes, tools and techniques, marketing high technology products, managing R&D portfolios and development of technology alliances, and design issues and business strategies for new technology products in both established firms and new ventures.

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) promotes education and understanding about the development of creative new business and social ventures. Led by the Graduate School of Management, CEI provides a central resource for UC Irvine students and the community.

The Harold Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies oversees all teaching, research, extracurricular, and community activities related to entrepreneurship at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Some entrepreneurship courses and events may be open to other graduate students on request.

The William J. von Liebig Center for Entrepreneurism and Technology Advancement offers courses that include Venture Mechanics, Enterprise Dynamics, Applied Innovation, and Corporate Entrepreneurship for Global Competitiveness.
UCSD Extension offers classes on Entrepreneur Development, including Best Practices in Corporate Governance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Starting and Financing Technology Companies, and What is the Company Worth: A Guide to Due Diligence.

The Center for BioEntrepreneurship collaborates closely with students, faculty, and industry leaders to develop and offer courses, symposia, workshops that train UCSF's scientists in the business of science and provide a mentor network for university scientist-inventors.
Idea to IPO...and Beyond is a 11-week course which starts in Jan 3-Mar 14 at Mission Bay Campus. The course explores the “nuts and bolts” of building a successful business through lectures by industry leaders and a team project to write a business plan. If you have an idea for a business, or would like to join a team that does, or would like to understand more about life sciences businesses, this course is for you. This popular class is a fascinating and challenging learning experience for anyone who is contemplating starting a business or joining an entrepreneurial endeavor.
Drug Discovery & Design, Tuesdays, 9am – 12 noon , starting Tuesday, 1/4/05. In a series of weekly lectures, readings, a workshop and discussions, students will gain a broad understanding of drug discovery technologies used today, and an appreciation for some of the regulatory and market forces that influence strategic choices in research planning. Students will also experience how to construct their own plan for a discovery opportunity, and present this to the class.
